2017 - Week 24

June 12.
Our nephew, Michael, was the first cousin to graduate from kindergarten. How exciting!! He's growing up so quickly and we are so proud of all that he's accomplished this school year!

June 13.
Play day with my crew. Started the day with sword fighting, then a little roof top lounging and plant watering, followed by some porch stooping and then hanging at the local community pool with some buddies. They were zapped by the end of the day. But what fun!

June 14.
Trip to Port Discovery with our buddies Miss Mandi, Kellen and Elodie. While brother napped sister and I did a rainbow mani/pedi. Then she asked for a "snack craft"...so we decorated pretzels with christmas icing and sprinkles. Yum!

June 15.
Trip to the mall complete with: two carousal rides, hummus sampler from Zoes, pirate cake pops from Starbucks, quarter car riding and a new bathing suit.

June 16.
Playing at the Tot Lot is one of their favorite things...especially the blue car and when someone brings cupcake treats. Low key afternoon playing in the basement and reading books with my loves. Brother was worn out from the week and slept HARD!

June 17.
Everyone was ALLLL smiles all day. Playing in the park, playing "construction" and fixing things, and making their own ants on a log. SUPER messy (and everything smelled like peanut butter), but they love making their own food.

June 18.
Happy Father's Day!! Early morning porch swimming since it was so warm out and daddy was home for them to show off their new bathing suits. Celebrated with family at Captain James with crabs by the water. Brother and sister (and momma) don't actually like eating the crabs...but they enjoyed hammering on them and running around with the cousins. Our crew was super matchy-matchy that day. Love them. Had a blast celebrating all the father's.

2017 - Week 23

June 5.
These two...eating has become quite the chore recently. Once thing I can always win them over with: fruit kabobs. And I turn my head for ONE second and Radford is on the table playing with his busy book instead of sitting eating his meal. We have a climber. And sister...still TOTALLY into costumes and has the sass to go with it. Love it.

June 6.
A trip to HomeGoods today. Brother got a new stool for the bathroom and he was SOOOO excited he had to practice sitting on it even before getting it home. We typically try out ALL of their chairs, today we took it a step further and had story time. Afternoon date with our buddy Grayson to play at the waterfront and eat icecream. YUM!

June 7.
Sister started the day by covering herself in pink stamps that made her look like she had some skin disease. A trip to CFA complete with fun animal masks. THEN...momma escaped (thanks to our awesome sitter Sarah) for a pedicure and some dress shopping. What a treat.

June 8.
Just a typical week day...recruiting the kiddos to help clean - you know, because a baby wipe can clean anything. Playing at the playground and fun baths in momma and daddy's bathtub.

June 9.
Morning workout and playdate at the park with Aunt Hil and the cousins. Daddy came home (yay!!!) and took us out for pizza. Nora captured this photo of me...she loves taking pictures now! After dinner the kiddos snuggled daddy's beard one more time before he chopped it all off. Woo Hoo!

June 10.
Family day at the strawberry patch. We came late in the season, so it was slim pickings and small berries, but we still had a blast together. Brother insisted on wearing his construction vest. We used the berries in yogurt parfaits. Yum.

June 11.
Another hot day outside. Went to the Greek Festival with the cousins. We are snow cones, painted ceramics, filled sand shapes and at gyro's. The kiddos were TOO cute - all 5 of them holding hands together. Rad couldn't hang...he was WORN out after a long weekend in the sun.

2017 - Week 22

May 29.
Happy Memorial Day! We explored the park with the rest of Baltimore - such a beautiful day and EVERYONE was outside. We played by the pond, ate icecream and jumped in huge mud puddles.

May 30.
We have ventured into the wonderful world of legos...of which, Rad LOVES his new cars. Sister wishes he would share a little better. Boys and things on wheels...it's crazy how they know to love them. We had a lazy day at home playing, then everyone crashed hard.

May 31.
A playdate in the park with Michaela and Colin - our buddies who move to Maine soon. Then a trip to the store dressed like Super Girl, followed by a late evening pool session.

June 1.
Normal morning routine...starting the day with snuggles and matching our cups to our pjs while we watch George. After our workout, we hung with G, the cousins and Aunt Hil for a rooftop pool party, movie watching and costume wearing afternoon. Late afternoon at the Tot Lot - brother riding the bike for the first time.

June 2.
Took the car to the dealership to have the oil changed. They happened to have a Dunkin Donuts next door, so since it was #nationaldonutday we HAD to get one. Afternoon building forts and having picnic snacks in the livingroom.

June 3.
A birthday party where you wear pjs and eat donuts the size of your face. OMG these kiddos were happy!! Afternoon shenanigans...walked to the inner harbor for cookies at Barnes and Noble, picking out new Busy Books and playing at the music playground.

June 4.
Sunday Funday. Farmers market - hula hoops and fresh squeezed orange juice. Followed by a trip to the Fed Hill playground and city views. Then a little costume action before dinner - he will kill me for this picture one day. Until then, I will cherish his love of dressing up as much as his sister.
