2017 - Week 16

April 17.
We've joined a gym that has a pool - so our first time there was with the cousins over Michael's spring break. They had a blast and were WORN out. That afternoon we painted (obviously we have some talent in the family), we blew bubbles and Radford hijacked the Easter candy for an afternoon snack.

April 18.
After our workout we ventured to HomeDepot to get flowers to make our "backyard" beautiful. Spring flowers definitely brighten up any rowhouse deck area. Afternoon bath was in order after digging in all that dirt - complete with "war paint".

April 19.
After church we had a chilly playdate and picnic with Mandi, Kellen and Elodie. Afternoon mani/pedi for Nora while Rad napped...and then we continued the picnic theme with a Chick-Fil-A playroom dinner.

April 20.
A visit to the library isn't complete without coloring (and drawing all over your face) and running up and down the ramp for waaaay to many laps. Sister and I played on the sidewalk with chalk and people watched while Rad napped - is she 3 or 16? Scary!! Afternoon fun at the Jozefiak's for a family dinner - kiddos loved having their own table.

April 21.
After a workout we headed to Port Discovery to do Gingle Jangle Music Class and see the Thomas exhibit. Spent the rest of the day at home relaxing after a long, busy week.

April 22.
Fun (rainy) day with daddy. We ventured to the mall to buy new flip flops and pajamas at the Disney store, ride the carousel, play in the book store, and take pictures with daddy while mommy shopped in Lululemon. Lunch at Zoe's and car naps for everyone wrapped up the afternoon.

April 23.
Fun morning in the park picking flowers, digging in the dirt and enjoying the beautiful weather!! Cousins came over for a cookout and making a HUGE mess of the basement. We really enjoyed family time this weekend!

2017 - Week 15

April 10.
Happy Birthday to daddy!!! We ventured to the music park with the cousins and enjoyed some beautiful spring weather. Then headed to get dinner prepped for daddy - he requested shrimp tacos. Yum. A trip to Harris Teeter isn't complete without a ride on Harry! Brother passed out from all the excitement.

April 11.
Happy Birthday to ME! A workout in the park, playing at the playground, lunch out with the cousins, Hil and G, playing on G's roof in the pool (and the giant planter), brother having a scary reaction to sunscreen, and a little ice-cream from the truck in the park. SUPER long day outside. Everyone was exhausted including momma. Everyone made this such a special day!

April 12.
Happy Birthday to G. We took G to brunch then brought our cake home to enjoy. Naps for everyone after a long few days complete with sweaty nap hair. Back outside to play with some of our buddies before dinner. Playground was too crowded so we opted for stick sword fights, playing with the t-ball and dog watching.

April 13.
Slow day with my crew...picking "wish flowers" in the park and digging for "dinosaur bones". Both kiddos were covered in dirt. Momma escaped for a pedicure and some trashy reading before meeting daddy for a date night.

April 14.
Worked out, then played at the Tot Lot - swings and roller coasters. After a long week of birthday and tons of playing outside both kiddos were wiped out. They totally sleep just like their daddy. Love my little crew and their desire to have a zillion bed buddies.

April 15.
Fun morning working on some projects - fixing the fence and putting together the grill that G and Pops got up for our birthdays. Nora loves being daddy's helper. Afternoon church service and Easter egg hunt was a success. Our little bunnies had a blast!

April 16.
Happy Easter! The Easter buddy was good to our crew - bringing too much candy and cookies in their baskets. I made biscuits and gravy before heading to G and Pops house for a family meal and playing with chalk and scooters. It's rare to capture a picture of all of us!

2017 - Week 14

April 3.
It poured down rain this morning, so my mom and I took a trip to Babyland General to see where Cabbage Patch dolls are "born". The kiddos loved seeing all the different dolls and toys at the "hospital". They even picked out a little buddy to bring home. Afternoon playing outside and enjoying the slower pace of being in the country.

April 4.
A slower day...we played at the house all morning. We made "stew" in the bird bath, played in the garden hose, swung in the hammock, took golfcart rides, watched for fish jumping on the dock with Grammy and Papa, and took a short boat ride. I escaped for a girls night out with Kelsey to catch up on life and enjoy chocolate cheesecake. What a treat to see such a special friend and have a night out.

April 5.
Another rainy day means a trip to the interactive children's museum in Gainesville with Grammy. We played on the firetruck and police car, made music on the organ, dressed up, pretended to shop, looked at fake teeth, played in the diner, pretended to go to the bank and much much more.

April 6.
Another date with Kelsey...this time with kiddos. We took them to Catch Air to run around and get their energy out. What a fun place! Ball pit, jump house, rides, etc. Kiddos wore themselves out, but not before a CFA lunch date. We decorated Easter eggs with Grammy and Papa that afternoon.

April 7.
(Too many pictures today - required 2 collages) Fun morning visiting with my dad. Took the kiddos to eat breakfast then to Everland to play - more ball pits, jump houses, and balloons. The afternoon was spent doing an Easter egg hunt in Grammy and Papa's yard then a trip to the local winery - Cavendar Creek. The kids loved looking at the donkeys, petting the dogs and playing in the grass near the orchard. Cheers.

April 8.
Headed back home after a LONG week of being on the go. Kids each got their own seat on the place...Rad was a super happy camper. Nora "read" every page of her Southwest magazine and airline guidelines. SOOO excited to see daddy...and ride the escalator.

April 9.
Day at G and Pop's house playing on the roof in the sun (even though it was only 70 degrees) and celebrating birthdays with a GIANT cake. Loving this weather and time with family. Happy early birthday to my love and his momma.

2017 - Week 13

March 27.
Monday morning shenanigans with the cousins. Playing at Fort Fitness - letting them get all their energy out in a jump house. Only stopping during the 2 hours for a quick snack break. Brother was worn out after the adventure. Quick stop at Target to get a few essentials for our trip - brother refused to sit in his seat and wanted to ride like this. Ha.

March 28.
Playing in mommy's old formal dresses - she loves dressing up!! It was a pjs kind of day with all the rain...so we pretended to be on a camp out in sister's tent, painted some Easter crafts, playing with the many, many random bags we have floating around this house and relaxed. These two love playing together!

March 29.
Happy 4th Anniversary to Chaz - he surprised me with flowers and breakfast after his workout this morning. :) After church we ventured to HomeGoods (where they ALWAYS have to play with the riding toys), to Target (again) for a quick errand...of which the new request at Target is sluprees. Brother threw his on the floor and it exploded in the lamp aisle. Oops. Afternoon spent playing with bubbles on the porch, and loving on the new "buddies" daddy brought home.

March 30.
Morning date with G to SipNBite for breakfast - brother ate more whipped cream from his pancakes than anything else. For the first time EVER sister napped somewhere that wasn't her bed, carseat or stroller...she passed out on the sofa for 3.5 hours. The many, many 4:30am wake-ups are getting to her. Brother enjoyed some alone time with mommy while sister napped. This boy is into everything and so, so silly. Love him!

March 31.
EARLY morning in preparation for a week in Georgia. I managed to get 100# of luggage, a car seat, a #25 stroller, 2 kids (wearing the 33# one on my back) and myself into the airport and checked in! Long day of travel filled with airport food, movies, and plane bribery...but got to enjoy Antico pizza, playing at the Avalon in perfect spring weather and seeing the Easter Bunny.

April 1.
First full day in Georgia means a day on the water. Mommy forgot sandals, so we bought new ones which the kids loved, and headed out on the boat for lots of sun, a boat picnic and enjoying time with Aunt Amy, who came in from UGA to visit. Thanks for the boatride Papa!

April 2.
Second day in Georgia...a visit to the North Georgia petting zoo with Grammy and Papa. We saw goats, llamas, pigs, chickens, turtles, zebras, porcupines, cows, and tortoises. Headed into old town Dahlonega for lunch and listening to banjo music in the square. Slow afternoon at home playing with their new bubble machine.
