2017 - Week 40

October 2.
Another Monday...started lazy with tv shows and snuggling with our buddies, people watching on the stoop, then a park playdate and dance class.

October 3.
Brother loves rocks SO much, sometimes he just hugs them at the park!! Sister decorated some bracelets and then everyone accompanied me to my monthly check up. All is good with baby boy!

October 4.
Pumpkin petting before church. After church we went to TCBY for "99 cent Waffle Cone Wednesday"...yes, we had icecream for lunch. YUM! Sister did some checkups on her buddies during Rad's naptime.

October 5.
Nora's first fieldtrip was to an alpaca farm!! She got to walk it, feed sheep, brush some wool, make a cool braclet and learn a fun bible story about God and creation. She had a blast and so did brother - so glad he got to tag along!

October 6.
Weekend away to celebrate baby #3 with my hubby!! We drove 3 hours to Charlottesville, VA. We went on a tour of Monticello and saw Thomas Jefferson's grave site. We rented a tiny cabin through AirBandB which was a perfect QUIET retreat from the regular routine. We enjoyed a dinner out in the downtown area before sitting outside our cabin for hours watching stars and talking life - we even saw 2 shooting stars!

October 7.
Another fun vacation day. We started with brunch on UVA campus at The Pigeon Hole...it was game day against Duke and the place was slamming - we felt like college kids again. We shopped, went to Jefferson winery for a wine tasting (don't worry, I only tasted a few), went to a bourbon distillery with the most amazing view, then headed back downtown for another fun evening of dinner, icecream, people watching and siteseeing.

October 8.
Woke up to cold, rainy weather. We made the drive to Carter Mountain apple orchard anyway...the view was amazing!! So were the apple cider donuts, the fresh picked apples and the apple pie! We stopped for brunch before headed home. I enjoyed a little too much coffee - first time having french press in WAY too long. What an amazing get away with the hubs - perfect refresh before life gets even crazier with 3!!

2017 - Week 39

September 25.
Started the day off with peanut butter cups in the foyer for breakfast. Followed by some chicken drawings, painting and Nora's dance class. Grammy also arrived to day for a visit!!

September 26.
Took Rad to his favorite park while sister was at school, then introduced Grammy to Play Cafe for lunch. Afternoon movie snuggles, then my mom and I had a pizza date to catch up on life and enjoy a girls night.

September 27.
Took the kiddos to Webers Farm with my mom. We ate apple cider donuts, rode the hay ride, did the yard slides, picked pumpkins, came home and decorated said pumpkins and enjoyed some Grammy snuggles.

September 28.
While sister was at school, Rad enjoyed shopping with a cake pop and trying out allllll the umbrellas at Carters. Then we ventured north to Annie's Playground to check out Maryland's largest playground. It didn't disappoint - they had a blast!

September 29.
Last day with Grammy in town...shopping in Fells, lunch date out, icecream, another playground and enjoying some amazing weather!!

September 30.
Lazy day...sister carried her American flag around almost all day - she's obsessed with it!! Brother was introduced to the idea of potty training with the reward of candy - not much luck so far. Then we decided to rearrange sister's room to make for more space. She loves it!

October 1.
Fun day with the cousins, Aunt Hil, Uncle Patrick and G. We watched football, ate yummy food, rode bikes and watched the kiddos scarf down cupcakes.

2017 - Week 38

September 18.
We headed to Target in our costumes, even playing at the playground in them!! We opened a few new chapters too...starting dance class and introducing big boy underwear! Great kickoff to a new week.

September 19.
Started the day with sister insisting on bringing her LeapPad in the car to school and brother waving at trucks. While sister was at school, we explored the park - tractors, trucks and playground playing. Then a little afternoon water table fun to soak up these last few days of summer weather.

September 20.
Hung with Aunt Hilaire and the cousins after church. Waiting for Ava and Michael to finish their school day before getting an icecream treat from the icecream truck was the best afternoon!

September 21.
Another school day...brother wanted to be like sister and bring his bag. I took brother to the park to play with toy trucks and to HomeGoods for an errand before taking them to PureRawJuice for an acai bowl...they weren't sure what to think about it. I ate most of it. Then an evening playdate with Kerry, Austin and Kyle...it's been too long since we've seen them!

September 22.
Lazy Friday!! Chalk all morning followed by an adventure in pjs and boots to the park for a workout, leaf collecting and watching the fountain. Daddy took us to dinner at the local pizza place!

September 23.
Baltimore Book Festival at the Inner Harbor. The kiddos got to meet their favorites - Daniel Tiger and Curious George. We painted pumpkins, played games and sister even did the "spelling bee" correctly spelling her name, Rad's name and doing her ABC's all in the microphone!

September 24.
Brother slept 19 hours after a LONG day in the sun yesterday...he preferred some snuggles with mommy over doing anything else. Daddy and Nora enjoyed their snuggles while mommy cleaned and did laundry waiting for brother to wake up.

2017 - Week 37

September 10.
Another good Monday...playing at the park, haircuts, craft time with our Chick-Fil-A "toy" and being silly once daddy got home.

September 11.
Big girl's first day of preschool!!!! She was so excited to get dressed up and take pictures...she had a blast and mommy cried. Ha! Brother enjoyed his along time with mommy - a date to Starbucks and looking at toy trucks.

September 12.
First Wednesday back at bible study for the season. Followed by some glitter glue art and lots of dressing up! Love spending my days with these kiddos!!

September 13.
Another day of preschool for Nora - she wasn't thrilled about going because she woke up at 4am requesting to watch a movie...I mean, really?? So after school she passssssed out on the sofa for at least 2 hours. Rad and I enjoyed a trip wondering around Target and trying out at My Gym class - he liked the ball pit best, but hated circle time.

September 14.
Baby #3 is a BOY! Everything at the 20 week ultrasound looked perfect!! Kiddos were super excited for cake...but not really sure what to expect with the addition of another little boy in the family.

September 15.
Happy birthday Grayson. Tot Lot birthday party with friends complete with blue cupcakes and messy kiddos!!

September 16.
Everyone was a little under the weather, so we had a movie marathon and watched 5 movies while snuggling in the basement in pjs all day. We escaped to the porch to "surf" for a bit, and Nora's halloween costume arrived, so we had to run around in that for a while. Great lazy day with the family...not pictured, mommy even escaped for a pedicure!

2017 - Week 36

September 3.
Target $1 section is always sure to never disappoint with the fun stuff for my kiddos to play with. Then a trip to the Tot Lot to enjoy the wonderful weather.

September 4.
Nora trying on some of mommy's clothes - how cute is she? Mommy is almost 1/2 way through her pregnancy. Then time with family on the holiday...jumping rope, playing in puddles and the biker gang with the cousins.

September 5.
Another early start where sister wanted to do makeup and watch a show at 6am. Followed by a playdate at PLay Cafe, destroying the livingroom, and reading out new National Geo Kids magazine.

September 6.
Fall has arrived. Pumpkin muffins, Nora's meet the teacher, Rad getting to hang with the cousins for the day while mommy was with Nora, and an icecream date.

September 7.
Playing games and reading books together to fill the day before Daddy got home...then off to DC for a weekend getaway. First thing they wanted to do when we got to the hotel was swim - the pool was freezing!

September 8.
A FULL day in DC. We saw the Washington monument, WWII memorial, Lincoln memorial, White House, Air and Space museum, the Capitol, and enjoyed some yummy treats along the way. Hotel delivery pizza was called for after all the fun in the sun.

September 9.
Another fun day in DC. Museum of Natural History to see animals and dinosaurs, a ride on the carousel alongside The Mall, then enjoying lounging and playing chase at The Mall. Finished the day at the Ukranian festival (Nora thinks Aladdin lives in their church)...and was excited to get a lemonade "from his house". What a great weekend with the family!!!!

2017 - Week 35

August 27.
What did the kiddos eat for breakfast? Oreos. It was a pick your battles day...then we took a trip to the park and what did Nora choose to wear? Her nightgown...and Rad wanted Nora's cowboy boots. So...they pretty much got what they wanted all day. Ha! We had fun!

August 28.
Painting at 8am in our rainjacket, "helping" mommy with laundry - aka trying on everything, and doing sticker books together while mommy makes dinner. All in a good summer day.

August 29.
Everyone made a request for going outside but didnt want to ride int he stroller - so I broke out the wagon. That thing is HARD to pull when there is 65lbs of kiddo in it! We played at the park and took a trip to Michaels for some Halloween crafts.

August 30.
Playdate with Dawn and Sweden resulting in Rad dressing up in girls clothes, a party in the bathtub, taco lunch and popsicles. We had a blast visiting with them in the county.

August 31.
Brother didnt know what to think about this cooler weather - why am I wearing a jacket to the park? Sister loved breaking out her leggings from last year. We ordered food for dinner - of which Rad opted for no fork, and sister made me a "cake" from her playdough.

September 1.
Lazy day at home full of snuggles, bubble baths, games in our pjs and letting them play with safty scissors - it was supposed to be a fun craft, but they opted for just shredding the paper.

September 2.
Fall craft - making "trees" with falling leaves. Then a trip to BJ's, being silly in sister's bed instead of actually taking a nap, eating airheads on the porch and people watching into the park.

2017 - Week 34

August 21.
The best view of the solar eclipse I could get - it was pretty cloudy in Baltimore. I took the kiddos to the car wash (complete with cookies) and the grocery store (don't look to too excited to ride Harry, Nora!) so we could get back into the swing of our routine and have a fresh car and stocked fridge. CFA for lunch was on point with their kiddie meal craft!

August 22.
A typical summer day: sun dress, playground, icecream and bubbles. Perfect!

August 23.
A stroll through the park to feed the ducks, snacking and people watching, being silly on the playground and wrapping up the day with paleo chocolate chip cookies. Another great summer day.

August 24.
It was slightly cooler today (mid 60's) so the kiddos insister on wearing jackets...no it wasn't raining. Stopped off at our favorite - Zoe's for a snack box lunch, then a trip to Ikea to play on furniture and eat $1 icecream.

August 25.
Early workout in the park at the stairs - the kiddos even got in on the action. Then we walked to the waterfront and watched the boats. They always beg me to go on the water taxi. Today, on a whim, I said yes. We rode all around the harbor then stopped at Fort McHenry for a stroll around the grounds before heading back home. This was an extremely long, physically draining day for this pregnant momma of 2!

August 26.
Weekends are for going to the Tire Park with daddy, getting together with friends for dinosaur birthday parties, eating cookies and watermelon for dinner and skipping naps to enjoy all the fun!

August 27.
Kids festival at the neighborhood church - face painting, moon-bouncing, crafts, games and exhausted kiddos! Momma and Daddy sat on the stoop for an evening date to enjoy the weather after the kiddos passed out by 6pm. Great weekend!
